| Journey |
| The cruise starts from Runnymede, home to King
John's Magna Carta, then passes through the town of Staines
- the ancient start of the tidal Thames before the locks were
built. Continue on beyond Chertsey, passing through Coway Sail
where Julius Caesar forded the river. Then on through Sunbury
Lock which has a unique second lock adjacent to it still in
operation. On approaching Hampton Court, you will pass some
lovely house boats, some formely owned by stars such as Diana
Dors. You are then afforded superb views of Cardinal Wolsey's
majestic palace. |
