| Journey |
| Parties are able to visit Cardinal Wolsey's majestic
palace in the morning and then cross the bridge to board the
boat. After passing through Sunbury Lock which has a unique
second barge lock adjacent to it, the trip journeys through
the beautiful reaches of Sunbury, Shepperton and Chertsey then
on to Staines - the ancient start of the tidal Thames before
the locks were built. Pass Magna Carta Island and the Memorials
before arriving in historic Runnymede. |
