On departing Henley, the boat follows the route made famous by over one hundred years of rowing history. Before Marlow, the boat passes Medmenham Abbey, home of the infamous Hellfire Club. Continue traveling downstream under the shadow of the imposing Winter Hill - the gateway to the Chilterns. Then cruise through the beautiful Cliveden reach, the setting of the Profumo affair and on through the famous Boulters Lock, before arriving at Maidenhead Promenade.
