Staines to Sunbury Walled Garden

Boarding at Staines Town Hall, your group can now travel by boat & alight at the stunning Walled Garden at Sunbury with access to the Tapestry Gallery (entry to both are free as long as you book in advance).

Board the boat at Staines - the ancient start of the tidal Thames before the locks were built.

Chertsey Lock is next (and one of our most popular stops) on this trip, passing through Coway Sale where Julius Caesar forded the river and on to Shepperton. The boat then passes through Sunbury Lock which has a unique second barge lock adjacent to it still in operation.
